This rugged piece sports an O1 tool steel blade at 5.5 inches long, overall length is 10”, the blade is 1.25” at it widest point and 3/16” at it’s thickest. It is a 50% Scandi style flat grind tempered to Rockwell 59. The handle scales are dyed and stabilized Maple burl mounted with brass and mosaic pins. The spine is embellished with a “thorny vine” file pattern. Includes a dark Navy Blue leather sheath. This knife design has produced dozens of comparable pieces which have proven themselves in countless survival situations. With the 50% Scande grind and full thickness spine it defies torture and can baton through the toughest wood to produce kindling without a scratch.
